Privacy policy

We don't collect anything.

Effective 2 November 2026

Pocket Crosses has no account, no ads, no analytics and no server. The app collects no personal data, and nothing you do in it is sent to us or to anyone else.

What stays on your device

Your settings, your stats and the character and name you pick are saved on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.

Nearby play

When you look for nearby players, the app uses your local network or a direct link to find other devices running Pocket Crosses. Players nearby can see your chosen name, your character and whether you're free to play. They never see your device's name, your own name or anything else about you.

Games go straight between the two devices and are encrypted on the way. Nothing passes through a server.

Permissions

The only permission Pocket Crosses asks for is Local Network access, and only when you first look for nearby players. You can play the computer or pass the device without it.

Third parties

None. There are no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools in the app, and no tracking.

Children

Because the app collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either. Names are picked from a fixed list, and players can't type messages to each other.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
